Ed had been recommended to us and exceeded our expectations. Ed wandered around the tables engaging with people, they were blown away from the magic. We were also looking for someone to compare the evening and although Ed hasn’t done much of this he happily took on the challenge, the evening flowed as it should. He displayed all the tenets you associate with a public speaker and I really enjoyed his presentation about embracing chaos and responding to what happens when things don’t go to plan. He did a fantastic job connecting with guests of all ages, keeping everyone entertained with his incredible tricks and close-up magic. This was a mid week, mid afternoon booking in a community hall. Not what you'd consider to be 'show biz'. He gave us a performance that amazed us all. His tricks covered mind reading, disappearing items, card guessing, predictions  and more. He engaged with many members of our audience,  which thrilled everyone. WEDDING MAGICIAN FAQs

How much does a wedding magician cost?

As you might expect, the price of a wedding magician varies depending on the experience of the performer. The range over the past few years seems to have been around £450 up to £2000 depending on which options you go for, and of course, the wedding date. A midweek wedding in October is probably a little cheaper than a Saturday evening in July. If you're planning a wedding, you probably know this already.

As for my prices, I have a few set packages but without knowing a bit more about your event, I don't know which would be most suitable to recommend. In fact, having recently organised my own wedding, I know that sometimes a bespoke option is best choice, and that's why I always says it's best to have a short no obligation chat.

The best thing to do is to get in touch and tell me more about your wedding.

When is the best time to have a magician during a wedding?

Weddings are such a personal thing, so I'll always work with you to make sure that we find a time that works best for you and your day. However, I have found that the drinks reception and the turnover period, are both excellent times to include a magician during your wedding. That's because of what I've said above. Magic is a great way to bring your wedding to life during the moments when otherwise people might feel a little lost or left out.

So whether it's at the bar, in a lounge or outside in the garden. I'm there to greet people, share some incredible magic with them and make you and them look awesome!

Where do you provide wedding entertainment?

You're wedding is not too far for me. I know that because I've performed as a magician at weddings across the UK, from the heights of Northumberland to the tippy toe of Cornwall. I've not yet performed at a wedding in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland, but one day, I hope I will.

Generally, though I'm based in Staffordshire, and often perform across Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Wales, Derby, Nottingham and Manchester.

Furthest wedding so far: Miami ← Yes, the one in the USA.

What type of weddings are best for magic?

I've performed magic at at all sorts of weddings. I've performed an exclusive show for a wedding of 30 people, I've organised a team of close up magicians for a wedding with 550 guests and I've performed magic at several international weddings.

What connects every wedding I've worked at? They've all been relaxed celebrations. Of course, there is an element of formality and the dress code has for most of the weddings been smart. But, the atmosphere has always been laid back.

My performances are very conversational. I love to get to know people. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm there to spark conversations, and that can only happen if we're in this together.
